Good morning!
We are nearing the end of the WordPress Credits course, but we are not nearing the end of my contributions to the WordPress foundation! I will continue attending the local WordPress meetup as and when I am available, and I still intend to host a WordPress Campus Connect in September.
WordPress Campus Connect @ CNM
Progress is being made on the WordPress campus connect! I have been in correspondence with WordPress education, Automattic, and my college.
It seems likely that I will be able to host this event in collaboration with the CNM Learning and Computer Center, and that I will be able to provide all attendees free hosting for a year thanks to Automattic. They will be able to build their website during the Campus Connect Workshop and keep it after the workshop is over.
I have also decided on a date for the Campus Connect: Friday, September 18, 2026. This is still subject to change, but it seems like an ideal time as very few people have classes on Fridays.
WP Credits Wrap-Up
My WP Credits course will be ending next week on Friday, April 24. I have already prepared a wrap-up presentation, which I will be presenting at the local WordPress meetup on Tuesday. I might also be able to have an audience for my presentation.
Overall this course has gone very well and I am happy to have been a part of it.
